Now that you had much of an excuse not to buy it anyway, but now it’s even easier and you can help run DTI up the Amazon rankings while you’re at it. “Done the Impossible” is now at Amazon.
Sort of. Right now it’s a Marketplace purchase which means you’re still ordering it from the same people, but with any luck Amazon will get in their own stock and meanwhile people looking for Firefly and Serenity items are more likely to stumble across this, and that is a Good Thing.
If by some chance you haven’t ordered this, do so, now, either from Amazon or from www.donetheimpossible.com . There will never be a better, richer, more feature-packed documentary made on the Firefly fan experience. Narrated by Adam Baldwin, the DTI people talked to just about everyone, fan and professional alike, who had anything at all to do with the ‘Verse. There’s a trivia game, music videos, and more. Many of the excerpted interviews can be found in their entirety on the disc, and the amazing Firefly timeline (narrated by Jewel Staite) will teach you things even you didn’t know.
The wonderful soundtrack — containing a lot of old favorites as well as some new ones and some instrumental versions that aren’t available anywhere else — can also be found at Amazon.
This is a fantastic documentary. I highly reccomend it to every Browncoat. The extra features and easter eggs are well worth the price. The boys that made this did an excellent job and deserve much praise.

And girls. I heard Donna (From Sacramento) helped a ton too.
What a cool DVD! Have you guys watched this in you computer? It’s amazing!
They have the coolest DVD-Rom interface I’ve ever seen. I watched like a 30minute interview with Orson Scott Card (Awesome Sci-Fi novelist) and then I watched the whole interview with Joss himself.
And if that weren’t enough, I spent 4 hours going through the interactive timeline, 2 hours on the games, and I haven’t even scratched the serface on the factoids and other searchable stuff on the DVD.
I want to hold a shindig just to play with “Done The Impossible.”
P.S. I ordered the disc on Amazon with standard shipping, and I got it in like 2 days. It was wicked fast! I heard it’s way faster to order on Amazon than from their website. (No offence boys) 😉
Thanks for praise. Although we also do the shipping on all Amazon orders, and we always strive to be fast 🙂
