It’s a mark of how distracted I’ve been, doing this site, that I’ve had it up for nearly a month to tell you all about the cool Serenity stuff all around you and it completely escaped me to mention I have my own CafePress store. Geez.
Big Red Button was started for the same reason this site was: I wanted stuff, and I might as well let other people in on it at the same time. So I’ve got shirts and hoodies and bumper stickers and buttons and license plate frames and Serenity shipping labels and whatever else was available. Popular items include:
Whedon’s Bitch – Seen above.
Serenity Advance Screening Tour 2005 T-shirt – I saw people wearing these at the screening I attended in Tampa. Heck of a rush to see something you made on someone else’s chest. As it were.
What Would River Do? – the burning question of our times.
So, Which New Show Will I Fall In Love With, Abandon After Getting Frustrated With Pre-empting And Schedule Changes, And Finally Just Buy On DVD This Year? – not that I’m getting annoyed at any one channel, or anything.
I Saw Serenity, Where Were You? – Someday this will be the question they ask Supreme Court nominees.
And the SerenityStuff design, How Much Serenity Stuff Do I Have to Buy to Get a Sequel?
Also Blue Sun shirts, Join the Reavers merchandise, and a whole lot more. Stop on by and find your miracle.
Chris, I have baseball shirts with both “Whedon’s bitch and proud of it” and the Serenity Advance Tour – one of my favourites from your store. I still recall going into the office on a Sunday in June 2005, because I had no computer at home, and constantly refreshing the Universal Serenity board as we all tried to figure out where the next screenings were going to be and how we could get a jump on tickets. I remember you saying you had an idea and coming back to post not that much later with the image for the shirt. I vowed that if Vancouver got a screening and I got tickets, I would buy that shirt to wear – and I did! Thank you for keeping that memory strong every time I wear it.
